Role Summary

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be a critical member of our software development team, ensuring that our healthcare finance solutions meet the highest quality standards. Working closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams, you will design, execute, and refine test plans that guarantee the reliability and performance of our applications. Key Responsibilities

  • Test Planning & Execution:
    Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for new and existing features, ensuring robust coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Automation & Manual Testing:
    Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts alongside manual testing efforts to validate application performance, functionality, and security.
  • Defect Management:
    Identify, document, and track software defects, working collaboratively with development teams to facilitate prompt resolution.
  • Collaboration:
    Engage with developers, product managers, and QA peers to understand requirements, discuss test strategies, and improve overall software quality.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Stay current with QA best practices, emerging technologies, and industry trends to enhance testing methodologies and tools.
  • Documentation:
    Maintain clear and concise documentation of test plans, test cases, and quality metrics.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in quality assurance methodologies and test automation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Selenium, JIRA, or similar testing/bug-tracking software.
  • Basic scripting or programming experience (e.g., C#, JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Analytical Abilities:
    Strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Team-Oriented:
    Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive approach to sharing insights and learning from peers.
  • Experience Level:
    5-10 years of professional experience in software quality assurance.
