Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer
Location: Remote
About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products and systems meet the company's quality standards before release. You'll collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify issues, design test cases, and maintain a high level of product excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases.
- Identify, document, and track bugs, errors, and inconsistencies in software products.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to reproduce and resolve issues.
- Perform regression, performance, and integration testing across various platforms.
- Ensure products meet functional, usability, and performance requirements.
- Participate in review meetings to provide feedback on requirements, specifications, and designs.
- Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Prepare test reports and documentation for release approvals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer, Tester, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, or Trello).
- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Postman, JMeter).
- Basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality.
