Job Summary:

The Renewal Coordinator is responsible for providing outstanding customer service and administrative support in managing policy renewals within the Life, Accident & Health (LAH) and Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance lines. This role ensures timely and accurate renewal processing, assists clients with inquiries, and maintains strong communication between internal teams and external customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service background, practical MS Office skills, and experience in a professional business or call center environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the end-to-end renewal process for insurance policies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries regarding renewals, billing, and policy information.
  • Review and verify policy details, ensuring accurate data entry and timely updates in internal systems.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, agents, and internal departments to ensure seamless renewal processing.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Teams) to track, document, and report renewal activities.
  • Identify opportunities for policy retention and upselling, supporting overall business growth and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain organized renewal files, monitor renewal timelines, and follow up proactively with clients as needed.
  • Support the call center team with inbound and outbound communication related to renewals and customer account maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent — Required
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in a business or professional environment — Required
  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams) — Required
  • Prior experience in LAH/P&C insurance industry (Life, Accident & Health; Property & Casualty) — Highly Desired
  • Prior experience in a call center environment — Preferred

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $ $22.00 per hour
