Job Summary:

Urban Wellness is seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking Cannabis Trim/Harvest Technician to join our cultivation team in New Mexico. The Cannabis Trim/Harvest Technician will be responsible for assisting in the harvesting, trimming, and processing of cannabis plants to ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a passion for the cannabis industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Harvesting: Assist in the harvesting of cannabis plants, including cutting down plants, removing leaves, and preparing plants for drying.
• Trimming: Hand-trim cannabis buds with precision to maintain the quality and appearance of the final product.
• Processing: Assist in the drying, curing, and packaging of cannabis products, ensuring they meet company standards.
• Quality Control: Inspect cannabis plants and buds for quality and consistency, removing any defective or low-quality material.
• Compliance: Adhere to all state and local regulations regarding cannabis cultivation and processing, including proper documentation and reporting.
• Sanitation: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the trimming and harvesting areas, including sterilizing equipment and workspaces.
• Inventory Management: Assist in tracking and managing inventory of harvested and trimmed cannabis, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the cultivation and post-production teams to ensure seamless transitions between stages of production.
• Health & Safety: Follow all health and safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in cannabis trimming, harvesting, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision.
• Work Ethic: A strong work ethic and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Skills: Proficiency in using trimming tools and equipment.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical labor, including standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
