Salary: $85,000 commensurate upon experience

Job Summary
Oversees clinic and in-home services for families with very young children, ensuring policy, operational guidance, team quality, and workflow productivity. Resolves issues, drives process improvement, and manages direct reports through hiring, training, coaching, and evaluation. Promotes innovation, collaboration, goal setting, and leads early childhood training, acting as a liaison within the agency and with external partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversees and enhances clinic performance by coaching teams, managing workflow, and streamlining processes. Standardizes systems, processes, and policies across the clinic and agency where feasible.
  • Participates and leads cross-functional teams focusing on achieving agency priorities.

  • Serves as liaison between the clinic and other community providers including mental, behavioral, and physical health providers.

  • Oversees and assists in providing exceptional service and information to clients, providers, employers, agents, and other external and internal customers.
  • Monitors, evaluates, and reports performance for the teams relating to documentation, volumes, caseloads, timelines, accuracy, customer service, and other performance objectives.
  • Direct/oversee clinical quality management to assure compliance with regulatory requirements. Develops and oversees programs and interventions to tightly monitor clinical quality assurance.
  • Works with supportive departments across the agency to improve processes, systems, reporting, and services.
  • Investigates and settles issues as needed. Handles dispute resolution or relay information to appropriate personnel for further resolution.
  • Serves as liaison within all VFC areas to coordinate optimal provision of service and information. Participates in management planning and other cross-departmental functions.
  • Serves on various agency committees as required or designated. Documents and reports any pertinent communications back to the teams or department.
  • Provides operational excellence through utilization and creation of management reports, up-to-date systems, and strategic initiatives.
  • Develops and supports improvement of skills, performance, professional acumen, and educational needs of clinical and operational teams.
  • Remains current in specialty field and keeps apprised of current and anticipated trends in medical management.
  • Develops policies, procedures, guidelines, and other operational protocols to ensure early childhood behavioral health services are delivered and valuates and recommends systems additions and upgrades as appropriate.
  • Works closely leadership across programs to develop and monitor budgets and financial reports.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Required Experience
EDUCATION

  • MSW/MA or equivalent; Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, APRN, or Licensed Psychologist.

Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience in case management, program development, utilization management and implementing evidence-based service models required.
  • Prior success in healthcare integration, process development and program implementation is desirable.
  • Additional experience managing complex work processes and clinical systems is highly preferred.
