Position Summary

A leading renewable energy business is seeking a
Financial Reporting Analyst.

The Financial Reporting Analyst will be have reporting ownership of assigned Solar projects, including project deliverables for lenders and investors (e.g., financial statements, debt service coverage ratios), and will interact with a range of internal and external stakeholders. This role requires a strong grounding in accounting concepts, practices, and procedures, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact with external stakeholders (including debt/equity investors, external auditors, and consultants).
  • Prepare quarterly unaudited and annual audited financial statements for assigned project/portfolio financings and partnerships.
  • Complete periodic debt service coverage ratio filings for project/portfolio financings.
  • Own and maintain detailed trial balances for assigned entities.
  • Conduct analytical reviews of project results and communicate findings to management and stakeholders.
  • Review financing and partnership agreements to ensure full knowledge of assigned projects/portfolios.
  • Ensure compliance with debt covenants and relevant accounting standards.
  • Support ad hoc requests and special projects as needed.

Ideal candidate profile:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
