Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Construction Worker to join our team and contribute to the successful completion of various outdoor projects. This role involves working on-site to install, repair, and maintain landscape features, ensuring that projects meet quality standards and client expectations. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction and landscaping, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and craftsmanship.

Duties

  • Assist with the installation of hardscape elements such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and outdoor structures.
  • Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely to perform excavation, grading, and site preparation.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to execute project plans accurately.
  • Perform concrete forming, finishing, and masonry work as required for landscape features.
  • Install fencing, drainage systems, irrigation components, and other landscape infrastructure.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
  • Coordinate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
  • Utilize hand tools such as shovels, rakes, trowels, and caulking guns for detailed work.
  • Engage in demolition or restoration activities as needed for project completion or site cleanup.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures during daily operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in construction site work, landscaping, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating processes.
  • Knowledge of various construction techniques including concrete finishing, masonry, carpentry (including trim carpentry and door hanging), roofing, plastering, stucco application, fabrication, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, and restoration work.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Experience with power tools and hand tools used in construction environments.
  • Strong understanding of construction management principles is a plus.
  • Knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems relevant to landscape projects is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
  • Valid driver's license preferred; ability to operate vehicles or equipment as required is a plus. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour
