About AWS

As one of the world's largest cloud platforms, Amazon Web Services (AWS) knows the pace of innovation never slows. We see things differently, which helps our millions of customers grow ideas, IT infrastructure, and revenue. From emerging startups to the largest global enterprise companies, our customers trust us as strategic partners in shaping the future of business.

How would you like to be a part of Earth's most customer-centric company? You would work with teams of front-line responders who support the operations of some of the world's most powerful data centers. Our Data Center Engineering Operations team maintain and operate our critical infrastructure systems so that they are prepared to stand up against any situation.

AWS has the world's largest cloud computing portfolio. As an Amazonian you will work in some of the most sophisticated, safe, and secure data centers in the world. Our Engineering Operations Technicians I (EOT's) help keep them that way by working with the brightest minds from around the globe to help test and implement the newest technology and work practices to meet the demands of a changing market.

EOT's are Amazon's front line responders for hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and operation. This equipment includes, but is not limited to, stand-by diesel generators, switchgear, UPS's, PDU's, AHU's, chillers, cooling towers, chemical treatment systems, pumps, motors, VFD's, and building automation systems.

Inclusive Team Culture

We're committed to celebrating our differences here at AWS. Our employee-led affinity groups foster a culture of inclusion that empower all Amazonians to be proud of who we are. Ongoing events and learning experiences, including our Conversations on Race and Ethnicity (CORE) and AmazeCon (gender diversity) conferences, serve as a foundation for continuous learning about our diverse perspectives.

Work/Life Balance

We value work-life harmony. Achieving success at work should never come at the expense of sacrifices at home. Finding purpose and fulfillment is essential across all aspects of our lives, which is why flexible work hours and arrangements are part of our culture. When we feel supported in the workplace and at home, there's nothing we can't achieve in the cloud.

Mentorship & Career Growth

We have a career path for you no matter what stage you're in when you start here. As we strive to become Earth's Best Employer, we know we must continuously raise our performance bar.
