Sterile Processing Technician II

Pay range: $ $25.20 / hour

Shifts: full-time and part-time AM and PM, weekends AM and PM, flexi/PRN

Schedules: 7 a.m.-7 p.m., 3-11 p.m.

As part of our Perioperative Services, you'll work in one of the nation's largest and most dynamic surgical departments dedicated to advancing surgical care, featuring more than 60 state-of-the-art operating suites where more than 41,000 surgeries are completed annually. Our team excels in clinical excellence, teamwork, and innovation, managing complex cases with cutting-edge technology, including iMRI ORs and a robotics surgery program that is among the largest of its kind in the Southeast with the highest patient volume in the country. You'll collaborate with world-class surgeons and an interdisciplinary care team, including pre-and-post-procedural and OR staff, who are all committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes and the highest quality care. To provide services to any area that requires re-processing of sterile instrumentation. To clean, assemble and sterilize instrument sets for surgery. To assemble and organize case carts for surgery. To stock supplies and perform biological testing of sterilizers. To operate all sterilization equipment.

High School diploma or GED and one (1) year experience in Sterile Supply required. Currently certified as a Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) with the Certification Board of Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) with the International Association of Healthcare Central Sterile Material Management (IAHCSMM) required.
