About the Client:
Metric Search is proud to partner with a leading company in the elevator and emergency communications market. With 500 employees and approximately $100 million in annual sales, our client is the market leader in the industry. This business has doubled in size over the past 5 years and is investing heavily within their US business.
This opportunity is part of their Life Safety Sales Team, focused on life safety communication systems.
About the Role:
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for covering the Northeast territory with a key focus on major metro areas including Metro NYC, Boston, and Philadelphia. You will be responsible for direct sales and managing distribution partners. This is a strategic hire for the business as this is one of their top performing regions, and they are looking to bring on a goal-driven sales professional with ambition to move into management roles.
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute a sales strategy to effectively manage distribution partners and build relationships with key decision makers
- Set up in-person customer meetings with key accounts throughout the territory
- Serve as the market expert, driving the strategy by understanding customer needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics. Actively engage with customers to gather insights and incorporate them into the company's strategic decision-making.
- Bring deep expertise in regulated industries, with a primary focus on buildings, to ensure compliance and alignment with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of sales experience
- B.S. degree or equivalent
