Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Assistant Tournament Director based in St. Louis, MO, with flexibility for some work-from-home opportunities. The Assistant Tournament Director will assist in planning and managing soccer tournaments, ensuring events operate smoothly. Responsibilities include coordinating with teams, organizing event logistics, managing schedules, overseeing tournament budgets, and addressing participant inquiries. The role also involves supporting customers & ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction during events.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively engage with participants, sponsors, and staff
- Knowledge and experience with soccer, particularly in event or tournament settings
- Experience with Budgeting and financial management related to event planning
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setup
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus
- microsoft Google and Excel knowledge
- Social media marketing experience needed
