Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Board Certified Dermatologist (MD/DO) to join our thriving dermatology and aesthetics practice. In this role, you will provide expert dermatological care, perform advanced skin treatments, and enhance patient confidence through personalized aesthetic procedures. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive dermatological assessments, including skin examinations, lesion evaluations, and medical history reviews.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of skin conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, and skin infections.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively to document patient encounters, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
- Educate patients on skincare routines, preventive measures, and treatment options tailored to their individual needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex cases involving dermatology-related comorbidities or related specialties such as ophthalmology or immunology.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and uphold the highest standards of patient confidentiality and safety.
Experience
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution with board certification or eligibility in dermatology.
- Proven experience in clinical dermatology with proficiency in medical imaging and diagnostic evaluation tools.
- Familiarity with EMR systems such as EMA or Epic or other electronic health records platforms.
- Hands-on experience performing cosmetic procedures like botulinum toxin treatment and laser therapy is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology related to skin health, and current dermatological research practices.
- Prior experience working in outpatient settings or specialized dermatology clinics preferred.
