We've been retained by a PE-backed industrial growth platform that's redefining U.S. manufacturing through innovation, scale, and execution. The company has grown rapidly in recent years—driven by organic expansion, major new contracts with Fortune 50 clients, and increasing demand for the advanced infrastructure supporting today's digital economy.

This is a newly created VP of Accounting role—an opportunity to take ownership of the accounting function for a business that will at least double revenue organically over the next 12–24 months. You'll be joining early in a private equity growth cycle where visibility, impact, and equity upside all align.

The Opportunity

  • Serve as the right hand to the CFO, leading the accounting organization through its next stage of scale
  • Oversee a Director of Accounting and a Corporate Controller, along with their teams (currently ~12 in total), with additional growth expected as the company expands
  • Build structure, process, and systems to support rapid growth across multiple business units and customer programs
  • Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, and integration teams to support continued expansion
  • Lead initiatives around process improvement, controls, and automation to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency
  • Play a key role in Quality of Earnings (QoE) preparation, financial diligence, and long-term exit readiness

What We're Looking For

  • CPA with a strong technical foundation in accounting and controls
  • Background in
    public accounting (Big 4 or equivalent)
    with a track record of advancement into corporate leadership roles
  • Experience in
    manufacturing or industrial environments
    , with a deep understanding of cost and operational accounting
  • Exposure to and comfort working within
    private equity–backed companies
  • Demonstrated ability to build scalable processes, lead teams, and establish financial discipline during periods of growth
  • A hands-on, collaborative leader who thrives in fast-paced, evolving organizations
