Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with licensed Physical Therapists to help patients regain mobility, independence, and confidence following neurological, orthopedic, or balance-related challenges. Our services span both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care settings.

The ideal candidate is empathetic, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with prescribed therapy exercises and functional activities under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
  • Implement and monitor therapeutic interventions according to individualized treatment plans.
  • Modify therapy techniques to ensure patient safety and optimize outcomes.
  • Communicate regularly with supervising therapists regarding patient progress and changes in condition.
  • Accurately document all therapy sessions, observations, and results.
  • Uphold professional, ethical, and safety standards in patient care.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support patients and departmental objectives.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (in good standing).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required within six months of hire).
  • Valid driver's license may be required depending on assignment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in rehabilitation, long-term care, or home health settings.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
