POSITION SUMMARY
The Branch Manager serves in the leadership role for the branch. Oversees general branch operations and people. Leads branch in exceptional service, sales, and growth.

· Member Service: Provides the highest level of member service setting the example for team. Provides excellent follow through to all member inquires in person, by phone, or electronically. Works to resolve complaints and builds long term member relationships. Meets with new members. Ensures all staff is delivering excellent service to every member.
· People Management: Assists and oversees the training and performance of all branch staff in products and services, procedures, policies, and promotions. Assists with recruiting and hiring, completes performance reviews, schedules branch to ensure proper branch coverage. Responsible for leading team, coaching, and disciplinary action when needed.
· Team Building: Meets with team regularly to coach and reinforce the AAC mission to provide the best in member care. Coaches employees individually with a mind toward making each team member successful. Fosters open communications between all branches.
· Building Maintenance: Oversees the general condition of branch facilities contacting proper vendors when service is needed. Reports needed repairs in a timely manner. Keeps branch clean and orderly at all time.
· Sales: Builds relationships with members by listening to needs and regularly suggesting products and services that will help them. Manages individual and team opportunity pipeline ensuring engagement is completed. Knowledgeable in all credit union products and services and the benefits of each. Participates in credit union promotions.
· Procedures: Oversees the accuracy and compliance of all transactions conducted at the branch. Understands and implements operational policies and procedures, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA). Ensures all safety and security practices are adhered to.
· Lending: Works with members to determine lending needs and opportunities. Suggests AAC lending products and services. Submits loans accurately and in a timely manner. Provides excellent service and prompt follow up. Knows and adheres to all loan policies and regulations.
· Community Development: May participate in community and business partner events positively representing AAC and promoting products and services.
· Professionalism: Interacts with members and co-workers in a professional manner, represents the credit union in a positive manner, displays coachable attitude, remains calm and confident in stressful situations.
Required Experience:
Three or more years of financial services to include lending, and one or more years of employee management required.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Other Skills Required:
· Must have the ability to coach, mentor, and build skills in team.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including business writing.
· Strong customer service orientation, detail oriented, and accurate.
