In 2019, we made our US debut and opened two New York locations in Greenwich Village, Manhattan and Great Neck, Long Island. During the summer of 2023, Marie Blachere opened its first location in Florida.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and measure ingredients for pastry recipes

  • Assist in the production of various pastries, including cakes, cookies, and breads

  • Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistent quality and taste

  • Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and dough sheeters

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines

  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow

  • Receive orders if needed

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a culinary or kitchen environment preferred

  • Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations

  • Familiarity with the food industry and pastry techniques

  • Ability to use knives and other kitchen tools safely

  • Baking and cooking skills

  • Experience working in a restaurant or bakery setting is a plus

As a Pastry Cook, you will play a crucial role in the production of delicious pastries. Your attention to detail and ability to follow recipes will contribute to the success of our bakery. If you have a passion for pastry and enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, we would love to hear from you.

Please note that this is not an entry-level position. Prior experience in pastry preparation is required.

Shift hours: 4:30 am until 12:30pm.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour
