In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in crafting and executing compelling media strategies that bring groundbreaking product updates and launches to life. You'll be the voice connecting innovative features with a global audience, particularly focusing on the dynamic world of digital creators. Your work will involve strategic outreach, fostering key relationships, and developing narratives that resonate deeply across diverse media channels, ultimately shaping public perception and driving the success of new initiatives.
- What You'll Do:**
- Collaborate closely with the communications team to champion product priorities, with a primary focus on engaging and empowering the creator community.
- Drive comprehensive media strategy and execution for significant product updates and launches, emphasizing creator-led media, direct engagement with creators, and strategic partnerships with social publishers.
- Support critical communications initiatives through strategic press outreach, impactful creator engagements, and innovative social opportunities designed to effectively reach and inspire target audiences.
- Act as the trusted communications representative on cross-functional working teams, providing essential input and strategic guidance for go-to-market plans, overarching strategy, and tactical execution.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, influential relationships with consumer and technology reporters, beat reporters, and emerging media outlets that directly engage with creators.
- Must-Have Qualifications:**
- 4+ years of progressive experience in public relations, journalism, social media, or a related communications field.
- Demonstrated direct experience in product communications, including a proven track record of successful cross-functional collaboration.
- Deep understanding of the consumer, creator, and technology media landscapes, with a proven ability to build and maintain impactful relationships with key press relevant to the platform.
- A genuine passion for discovering innovative and exciting ways to tell product and trend stories across next-generation publications and social media platforms.
- Exceptional writing skills, with extensive experience crafting compelling press statements, insightful blog posts, engaging narratives, and impactful social copy.
