Job Summary

Heads In The Cloud (HITC) is seeking an experienced Oracle APEX/PLSQL + Oracle EBS Sustainment Engineer to support mission-critical systems for JPATS. This is a contingency-based federal role, activated upon task order award.

You will provide Tier 3 sustainment, performance tuning, and release governance across Oracle APEX apps, PL/SQL code, and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). Ideal for engineers with strong Oracle sustainment experience in secure or high-availability environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Oracle APEX and PL/SQL applications (defects, enhancements, performance).
  • Sustain Oracle EBS (patching, cloning, interfaces, operational readiness).
  • Perform SQL tuning, indexing improvements, and performance optimization.
  • Execute change/release processes: deployments, rollback planning, validation.
  • Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and compliance evidence.
  • Collaborate with DevSecOps (Linux/AWS) to improve automation and monitoring.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years supporting enterprise Oracle systems
  • Oracle APEX development/sustainment experience
  • Strong PL/SQL troubleshooting and tuning
  • Oracle EBS sustainment (Financials preferred)
  • U.S. Citizenship

Preferred:

  • Federal or law enforcement IT experience
  • CI/CD (Jenkins) and monitoring tools (Nagios/CloudWatch)
  • Knowledge of RMF/NIST change controls
