POSITION SUMMARY:

We seek a dynamic Retail Sales Associate who is driven by results, responsible for all aspects of sales, from lead generation to closing deals. Your role entails closely engaging with customers to identify their needs, address inquiries about our products, and recommend suitable solutions. Prompt resolution of customer issues and ensuring maximum satisfaction are essential. Success in this role at YUCCA requires a strong affinity for selling luxury items and delivering high-level service. Additionally, staying updated on product features and maintaining the store's visual standards are crucial. Ultimately, you'll strive for exceptional customer service while consistently achieving sales targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Welcome and assist customers, addressing inquiries
  • Proactively engage with customers in-store and through outreach
  • Serve as a brand ambassador, embodying a friendly, energetic demeanor
  • Cultivate customer relationships and assess their needs, providing product information and assistance
  • Maintain product knowledge and discuss available options
  • Demonstrate initiative in driving sales and contribute to visual merchandising
  • Cross-sell products and handle point-of-sale transactions
  • Manage merchandise returns and uphold inventory control procedures
  • Fulfill online orders and assist with store cleaning and organization
  • Offer suggestions for sales improvement, including marketing strategies

SKILLS:

  • Proven experience as a Retail Sales Associate
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in computer operations, specifically on Mac/Shopify platforms
  • Experience in creative merchandising and luxury product sales preferred
  • Understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale transactions and inventory management
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Capacity to thrive under pressure and address customer concerns promptly

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
