Base Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 + Uncapped Commission

APC is growing fast, and we are searching for a Technical Sales Representative who blends sales drive + construction knowledge to win projects and expand our presence across California.

About the Role
This role blends strategic selling, construction product knowledge, and technical capability.
You will:
- Manage incoming and outbound leads
- Perform basic takeoffs and read plans
- Prepare proposals and support bidding
- Work directly with contractors, estimators, and project managers
We need someone who is:
- Strong in outbound sales
- Comfortable speaking the language of construction
- Confident reading drawings
- Skilled in CRM discipline and follow-through
- Professional, persistent, and client-focused

Key Responsibilities Sales & Client Development
- Identify, pursue, and develop new business across contractors, developers, and builders.
- Conduct outbound calls, follow-ups, and relationship-building activities daily.
- Present APC products confidently during office meetings, site visits, and virtual calls.
- Manage all sales activity through CRM (HubSpot preferred).
Proposals, Bidding, & Plan Review
- Prepare accurate proposals and price quotes.
- Review site plans, drawings, and construction documents.
- Perform basic takeoffs (training provided).
- Collaborate with estimating, drafting, and production teams.
Pipeline & CRM Management
- Maintain a clean, disciplined CRM pipeline.
- Track follow-ups, proposals, project statuses, and deadlines.
- Provide weekly progress and revenue activity updates.
Customer Service & Follow-Through
- Serve as primary point of contact for your accounts.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through all phases of the sales cycle.
- Provide timely updates, clarifications, and solutions.
Qualifications Required
- 3+ years in construction sales, building materials, precast, or contractor-facing sales
- Experience reading construction plans
- Strong proposal writing and bidding experience
- Ability to perform takeoffs or quantity reviews
- CRM proficiency (HubSpot preferred)
- Excellent communication & sales follow-up discipline
- Valid driver's license & ability to lift 25 lbs
Preferred
- Experience selling to contractors, GCs, and developers
- Precast, modular, or exterior system sales experience
- Spanish a plus (not required)
Compensation & Benefits
- $75,000 – $85,000 base salary (DOE)
