Human Resources Generalist – Corporate Office
We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support our corporate employee population across a broad range of HR functions.
Reporting to the Director of People, this role will partner with department leaders to drive HR strategies aligned with business goals, while also supporting office operations and employee experience initiatives.
Location: Bronx, NYC
Pay Range: $25–$30/hour
Schedule: Full-time, On-site (5 days/week)
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of HR generalist experience, preferably in a corporate or professional services environment.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems such as ADP, Paylocity, Kronos, or Workday.
- Strong working knowledge of federal and state labor laws.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work on-site 5 days per week.
- Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and commitment to the full duration of the assignment.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources
- Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers.
- Manage employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on HR policies and best practices.
- Administer health, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) plans.
- Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, wellness programs, and surveys.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition on recruitment coordination and candidate experience.
Office Management
- Oversee daily office operations to maintain a professional and productive environment.
- Plan and support corporate events, celebrations, and wellness initiatives.
- Manage HR supply inventory and assist with travel arrangements and recordkeeping.
- Perform light administrative and financial tracking duties related to HR.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- 2+ years of HR generalist experience (corporate or professional services preferred).
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (ADP, Paylocity, Kronos, Workday, or similar).
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of federal and state labor laws.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

- Must be able to work on-site 5 days per week.

- Demonstrated reliability and professionalism.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $ $32.00/hr.
