Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lube Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for automotive repair. As a Lube Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service while performing essential maintenance tasks on vehicles. This position requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform oil changes and fluid checks on various types of vehicles.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete maintenance tasks effectively.
  • Conduct inspections of vehicles to identify any potential issues or necessary repairs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly about services performed and any recommended maintenance.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the service area to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist in sales efforts by promoting additional services that may benefit the customer's vehicle.
  • Collaborate with other service technicians and mechanics to enhance overall service quality.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in automotive repair or as a service technician is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and experience using hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to perform oil changes and other routine maintenance tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Experience working in a shop setting is a plus but not required.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn new skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Valid Driver's License Required
  • Basic Hand tools to perform oil changes is preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $16.00 per hour
