Art Instructor (2) (part-time)

Job Duties

  • Teaching children and/or adult students art at different class levels.

  • Demonstrating art knowledge and techniques across multiple disciplines, including drawing, painting, lettering, and art history, etc.

  • Teaching students to understand the versatility of acrylic paints: dry brushing, staining, layering, underpainting, nonprinting.

  • Teaching students to develop aesthetic concepts, fundamental techniques, and the ability to make qualitative judgments about art.

  • Keeping student records for every class.

Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skillset

  • Passionate and enthusiastic about working with children.

  • Committed to student-centered learning.

  • At least two years work experience as an art teacher.

  • Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts at minimum.

  • Master's degree in Fine Arts preferred.

Salary and Compensation: We offer competitive salary and bonus and incentives, depending on the candidate's personal qualifications and performance.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 4 per week
