Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Professional Engineer
to join our teams in Port St. Lucie and Boca Raton, Florida. This role is responsible for managing and delivering civil engineering projects in land development, including the design of roadways, drainage, water, and sewer systems. The position involves all phases of project delivery—from engineering calculations and permitting to construction inspection and project closeout. The ideal candidate will hold a
Florida Professional Engineer License
, possess strong technical expertise, and excel at collaborating with clients, regulatory agencies, and multidisciplinary teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform and check calculations for stormwater management, potable water distribution, and sanitary sewer collection and transmission.
  • Prepare engineering specifications and detailed drawings.
  • Design land development infrastructure including roadways, water, sewer, and drainage systems.
  • Prepare and process permits through all applicable agencies.
  • Collaborate with clients, engineers, CAD drafters, and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare site construction cost estimates.
  • Review, correct, and approve shop drawings and material specifications.
  • Attend and actively participate in client and internal meetings.
  • Deliver project technical documents with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Provide construction inspection services.
  • Manage certification and permit closeout processes through applicable agencies.

Software Skills:

  • AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • I.C.P.R. (Preferred)
  • A.S.A.D. (Preferred)
  • Microsoft Project, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications

Position Requirements:

  • B.S.C.E. or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university
  • 5+ years of civil engineering experience in land development
  • Florida Professional Engineer License (REQUIRED)
