About The Job
CatFace is looking for a talented full-time remote Video Editor eager to contribute to the expansion of our YouTube brand. This is a full-time position with a schedule of Wednesday through Sunday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The ideal candidate should thrive in a dynamic environment and be adaptable to a variety of tasks. We are looking for someone with the enthusiasm and vigor to support our workflow in every capacity needed.

What You'll Do

  • Assisting and editing daily Minecraft videos for the Aphmau channel.
  • Adding in Text, Visuals, Sound Effects, and Music that match brand and theme.
  • Work with the Editing team to keep assets streamlined and organized.
  • Learning, Understanding, and Assisting with updating of editing and rendering best practices.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in editing "Let's Play" style content is essential
  • Deep understanding of the YouTube platform and the capacity to identify and apply emerging trends in editing styles.
  • Continuous drive to enhance video quality through innovative styles is crucial.
  • Strong passion for editing YouTube Gaming Content is required.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge and experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.
  • An enthusiasm for YouTube content, a keen interest in its mechanics, and the ability to quickly assimilate new information to improve videos, generate ideas, and effectively realize the vision of the talent are important.
  • The ability to adapt swiftly in a dynamic entertainment environment is necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to respond promptly, are also vital.
  • Familiarity with gaming platforms such as Minecraft and Roblox is expected, along with a thorough understanding of technical aspects related to audio syncing, frame rates, and more.
