In this pivotal role, you will help our CEO and C-suite clients at Fortune 500 companies measure and improve their companies' reputation. Your key focus will be on our Healthcare industry clients. You'll turn our first-of-its-kind Reputation platform—which quantifies the reputation of hundreds of companies—into storytelling and reports that make corporations smarter and decisions easier. Your job is to see what's driving corporate reputation and contextualise the "why" behind the data.
In this role, you'll access our proprietary scoring engine, uncover the "signal in the noise" to explain those scores, and write insights reports for senior executives. It's the perfect opportunity for people who love diving into the data, understand the exciting stories to tell, and know how to present them with wit and personality. You'll operate like a hybrid between a data journalist from FiveThirtyEight and a strategy consultant from McKinsey.
Must-have skills:
- Passion for diving into the data, interpreting insights and writing recommendations for clients
- Experience using PR analytics for the healthcare industry
- We'll provide you with the most advanced analytics suite to make sense of millions of data points—but you've got a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality: you enjoy looking for the data points that tell stories executives don't already know.
- A keen sense for copywriting to help editoriolize and "TL;DR" your research into business insights for C-Suite communications leaders.
- Excel and data literacy to "slice and dice" the data into your own pivot views
- Understanding of the imperatives of communications professionals (ideally with experience in a comms job at a client or agency)
Nice-to-have skills:
- Google Slides skills to visualise and cogently convey your findings for our customers, bringing the data to life in a way that focuses attention on what matters.
- Familiarity with social listening/media monitoring tools
Day-to-day tasks
Generate standard and/or custom insights reports for corporate executives, managers and their stakeholders:
Access Signal AI data and frameworks to synthesise current business intelligence or trend data, and support recommendations for action.
- Analyse technology, societal and financial trends to identify opportunities and threats for corporate communications, allowing customers to plan their corporate narrative and mitigate reputational risk markets for future product development or to improve
- Analyse competitive market strategies through analysis of related products, markets, or media share trends.
- Collect business intelligence data from available industry reports, public information, field reports, or purchased sources to compliment Signal AI data analysis.
Break down analysis at a global, regional and country level data to inform coordinated corporate decision making across geographies
Improve data solutions and frameworks:
Work with data science teams to validate the data frameworks required to inform analysis in client projects better and validate new KPIs
Work with solutions engineers to validate and improve data visualisation that is used to identify insights and produce reports
Provide consultancy and support to customers:
Present findings to customers in person or via video conference
- Onboard and support new customers on how to use Signal AI web app and use advanced dashboards
Workshop with customers to ensure the right focus is given to the topics covered in insights reports
Manage Junior team members and partners:
Oversee and manage the work of junior analysts
- Act as a key point of contact with third-party research companies from brief to editing.
