Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning units. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. The technician will be responsible for ensuring that all HVAC systems operate efficiently and effectively.

Duties

  • Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems and related equipment.
  • Troubleshoot HVAC issues using schematics and diagnostic tools.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on HVAC/R systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform equipment repairs on refrigeration units, boilers, and other related appliances.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all operations.
  • Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment as needed for repairs.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC or related fields.
  • Familiarity with HVAC design principles and construction practices.
  • Knowledge of plumbing systems and their integration with HVAC systems.
  • Experience in field service roles, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
  • Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair and property maintenance.
  • Previous experience working with ammonia refrigeration is a plus.
