Job Summary

Candidates should have a background in clinical psychology (PhD or PsyD) and advanced training in health coaching or behavioral science, with proven expertise in health psychology or lifestyle medicine.

In this role, you'll help clients understand and optimize the connection between brain, body, and behavior. You'll partner closely with our nutritionist, exercise specialist, and medical team to deliver truly integrated, whole-person care that supports prevention, performance, and emotional wellbeing.

Your work will focus on strengthening adherence, enhancing cognitive performance, and sustaining meaningful lifestyle change - helping clients manage stress, mood, and anxiety along the way.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one sessions on mindset optimization, resilience, and long-term adherence.
  • Collaborate with NVIVO's nutrition and exercise specialists to deliver coordinated, whole-person care.
  • Stay current on advancements in behavioral medicine and cognitive performance research.

Experience

  • Proven experience in cognitive, behavioral, or health psychology; with bonus consideration for candidates who are certified health coaches and have worked in an integrative medical or wellness setting.
  • Familiarity with preventive health, stress physiology, and habit-formation frameworks
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary medical team.
  • Experience delivering high-touch, concierge-level client experiences preferred.

Licenses/Certifications

  • Clinical Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) – California License
  • National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) or equivalent certification (preferred)
  • Background in Behavioral Medicine, Lifestyle Medicine, or Integrative Health a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Base Pay: $ $150.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
