Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled degreed accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with the ability to provide comprehensive financial services. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and compliance with relevant regulations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform and complete field work to include preparation of workpapers and financial statements for Audits, Reviews and Compilations
  • Prepare business and individual tax returns
  • Tax planning for corporate and individual clients, participate in tax research projects for clients
  • Demonstrate competency in technical skills, work quality, and application of professional and firm standards
  • Recognizes complex technical issues, evaluates facts efficiently and uses strategic decision-making skills to assist management in solving problems
  • Assists management in planning and managing engagement activity and follows through to achieve results
  • Perform diversified accounting and tax assignments
  • Prepares routine correspondence to clients
  • Builds relationships with clients and provides timely and responsive services and work products
  • Working with others on Team to complete client service tasks timely and accurately
  • Invest in professional development through active participation in training sessions and networking events both internally and externally

Job Qualifications:

  • Must have a degree in accounting
  • Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook), tax return preparation software and assurance application and research tools
  • Strong drive and motivation
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, deadlines, and budgets
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt style and messaging to effectively communicate with professionals at all levels both within the client organization and the firm
  • Commitment to continuous learning and development
  • Enthusiasm for helping others be successful
  • Out-of-the-box thinking and an entrepreneurial spirit
