WATER AND SEWER PIPELAYER

  • Minimum 4 years construction experience
  • Represents a high standard of integrity, reliability, attitude, and work ethic.
  • Proficient with laying pipe on grade, setting up the laser.
  • Proficient with any and all hand work associated with laying pipe, connecting to manholes, coring manholes, fusing pipe, belling pipe (slip joint and restrained joint), assembling machinal joints.
  • Proficient with safety rigging, harnesses, gas detectors, tripods, push cameras, etc.
  • Installs pipe reliably and gets it right the first time. (No re-work or going back to fix issues).
  • Can set up and operating bypass pumps, headers, pipe, etc.
  • Can build inverts, brick manholes, and perform basic masonry.
  • Helps train laborers and bank men.
