Are you a CVT or experienced lead tech who lives to elevate patient care and the people who deliver it? At Cobb & Co Veterinary Clinic, we're looking for a Patient Care Team Manager — someone who thrives on coaching others, setting standards, and creating a team that runs on trust, purpose, and compassion.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and develop our patient care team — mentor, train, and give kind, clear feedback that helps people grow.
  • Collaborate with management and doctors to ensure exceptional care and a smooth, efficient workflow.
  • Lead department meetings that bring focus, accountability, and alignment to the team.
  • Jump into leadership meetings and planning sessions with ideas that make us better, faster, and smoother.
  • Keep standards high — from safety to protocols to training — and know when to step in or delegate.
  • Keep the floor flowing when things get wild. You'll troubleshoot, prioritize, and somehow make it all look easy.
  • Model professionalism, positivity, and humor — even when you're covered in cat hair, two IV pumps are beeping, and someone's yelling "Has anyone seen my stethoscope?"

Who You Are

  • A Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or have at least 5 years of hands-on veterinary technician experience.
  • Previous leadership or management experience strongly preferred — especially in a team-based, fast-paced clinical setting.
  • Minimum of one year of experience assisting with surgery, COHATs, and anesthesia monitoring.
  • A natural coach who finds joy in helping others succeed — not just doing it all yourself.
  • Physically capable of safely lifting up to 40 lbs, restraining animals, standing for extended periods, and working on your feet most of the day.
  • Calm under pressure, even when a GDV and an HBC show up back-to-back — you find solutions, not excuses.
  • Detail-oriented but flexible — you can juggle priorities and still notice the little things.
  • You don't have to know everything — but you'll find someone who does.
  • Comfortable with accountability and open, honest feedback (giving and receiving).
  • Excited by structure and growth — we use elements of the EOS framework to stay aligned and keep improving.
  • Bilingual in Spanish? Extra pay
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
