About the Job

Seeking reliable, punctual Automotive Tech to perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspection and replacement, suspension work, emissions diagnostics and repair, radiator and hose replacement, and many other automotive repairs.

You will be expected to have independent competency and carry your own workload in the following areas:

  • Diagnosing and repairing vehicle issues, such as engine performance problems, electrical malfunctions, emissions control faults, and suspension or steering issues.

  • Conducting thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any potential issues or safety concerns.

  • Safely use hand and power tools and specialized equipment to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.

  • Maintaining accurate records of all repairs and services performed on vehicles.

  • Providing excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering any questions they may have.

Experience:

  • Recent experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic is required.

  • Familiarity with hand and power tools and other equipment used in automotive repair.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose simple and complex automotive issues.

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Skills:

  • Willingness to learn and positive attitude is a key to success.

  • Knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, brakes, cooling systems and suspension.

  • ASE Certification.

-Welding and use of oxygen/acetylene torches.

-Ability to assemble and disassemble vehicle components for repair or replacement.

  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools to identify vehicle issues.

  • Strong customer service skills to interact with customers and address their concerns.

  • Track record of completing repairs in book time or less.
