- Certification from Board of Certified Safety Professionals, NEBOSH or equivalent agency.
- Experience communicating with AHJ's (Federal, State, and Local Authorities) for notifications and permit conformance.
- Experience with data center or electrical safety.

As a Program Manager at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

As an EHS Program Manager, you will be a key contributor to continuous improvement across Google's EHS operations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams within Google Data Center departments and contractors to identify and address EHS concerns, risk identification and mitigation. You will ensure the safety of the operations workforce, protection of the environment, and Google's business. Furthermore, you will provide support with the implementation of new and critical EHS initiatives.
The Data Center team designs and operates some of the most sophisticated electrical and HVAC systems in the world. We are an upbeat, creative, team-oriented group of engineers committed to building and operating powerful data centers.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000-$151,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities- Execute in partnership on EHS programs and projects to improve business operations and technical aspects while acting as a subject matter expert (SME).
- Ensure compliance with Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) regulations, maintain permits, and monitor program Key Performance Indicators (KPI) performance.
- Execute and manage site EHS compliance calendar tasks/requirements.
- Evaluate incident data and track corrective/preventive actions to closure.
- Organize and execute meetings, reports, and site plans to identify and assess operational EHS risk.
