Store Keeper

We are looking for an organized, experienced Storekeeper to be responsible for all stock, staff management, and planning promotional campaigns for the store. To be successful as a storekeeper you must be able to manage stock levels and ensure timely restocking for optimal operation of the Lounge. You will also be responsible for preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensure that facilities are safe and well-functioning with the help of outside maintenance and repair vendors.

DELIVERABLES

Storekeeping

Deliver Stock levels by timely restocking accordingly not limited to:

• Specialty paper goods for the lounge such as cutlery, and to-go food containers
• Inventory for promotional campaigns for new products or seasonal specials
• Employee uniform items, including Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, etc.
• Lounge toiletries, cleaning products and cleaning tools (mops, rags, etc.)
• Guest snack bar items such as mixed nuts, chocolate-covered raisings, and trail mix
• All ad-hoc lounge inventory requests on time and as per order placed
• Help F&B team with inventory when required on a weekly & monthly basis
• Delivery of F&B cutlery, crockery and glassware to all lounges

DUTIES

Duties & Tasks not limited to:

• Update the inventory list on daily basis to ensure correct ordering
• Follows orders to completion including material return, if necessary
• Maintains stock shelves with appropriate items and assures labeling of units is both correct and visible
• Plan with Lounge Management for promotional campaigns inventory stock
• Ensure that the storage rooms are kept clean and organized
• Manage and maintain first in /first out process for all storage rooms
• Work with culinary team to understand how/where each food item has to be stored
• Monitor food temperature, rotation of stock items, maintain cleanliness and par stock levels in all storage areas
• Help F&B team with inventory when required on a weekly & monthly basis
• Handle materials unloaded from various freight trucks. Dispense material to lounge's stock room or directly to other associates if urgently needed
• Sustain and maintain the storage system to include racks, pallets, baskets or carts, for proper protection of materials and to facilitate handling and storage of items. Improve storage system as needed.
• Restocks materials to storage areas or issue points from reserve storage areas
• Maintain Filing of Requisition forms, ensuring that they are properly filled up and acknowledged by the requesting party
• Plan and coordinate all installations (telecommunications, heat, electricity etc.) and refurbishments
• Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards
• Inspect buildings' structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations
• Handle insurance plans and service contracts
• Closely liaise with Procurement necessary supplies
• Attend applicable Operations management meetings regarding inventory or maintenance

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma
• Standard accreditations and certifications (TABC Food & Alcohol Handling)
• Proficient written and spoken English is required, additional language preferred

IDEAL REQUIREMENTS

• Storekeeping / Hospitality / Housekeeping / F&B experience a plus
• Airport Lounge experience is an advantage
• Bilingual in Spanish or other language is a plus

SKILL SET

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Must have working knowledge of computers and have worked with data input
• Knowledge of DFW International airport & airport Security Permit would be an advantage
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational and administrative skills
• Efficient time management skills

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• You live in Dallas. This position is not eligible for relocation
• Able to work in the US without visa sponsorship
• Willing to undergo and successfully pass a pre-employment screening and background check
• Full Time – onsite. This is not a remote work setup.
• You can lift up to 50lbs regularly
• Possess manual dexterity
• Work safely in extreme temperatures
