Job Overview

We are seeking a professional OTR Commercial Flatbed Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting freight across long distances using tractor-trailers, primarily flatbed configurations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial driving, including route driving and load & unload operations, with a focus on safety and efficiency. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of FLATBED DRIVING. This position offers the opportunity to work with a reputable company committed to safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission across long-distance routes (OTR)
  • Safely load and unload freight using appropriate equipment and techniques
  • Secure loads properly on flatbeds or other trailer types to ensure safety during transit
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and freight deliveries in accordance with DOT standards
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during route driving
  • Manage delivery schedules efficiently to meet customer deadlines
  • Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly
  • Experience in tarping loads , no loading or unloading

Experience

  • Proven experience in commercial driving, specifically in flatbed, refrigerated trailer, tanker, or similar freight transportation roles
  • Prior delivery driver experience preferred, with a strong emphasis on route driving and load & unload procedures
  • Familiarity with truck driving regulations and safety standards (DOT compliance)
  • At least 2 years of experience operating Flatbed equipment either 48 ft or 53 ft
  • Ability to handle manual transmission trucks confidently and safely
  • Demonstrated ability to manage long-haul routes responsibly while maintaining safety and efficiency standards

Job Type: Full-time

Projected Total Compensation: $1, $1,700.00 per week
