Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to greet guests warmly, manage reservations, and ensure a smooth flow of service in our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant, ensuring a positive first impression.

- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover.

- Maintain an organized waitlist during busy periods, communicating wait times clearly to guests.

- Assist with guest inquiries, providing information about menu items and specials.

- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service throughout the dining experience.

- Handle phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations or answering guest questions.

- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization at the host station and dining area.

- Address guest concerns promptly and effectively to enhance guest satisfaction.

Experience

- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.

- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.

- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and communication.

- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills are essential for effective guest interactions.

- A passion for hospitality and commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences is highly valued.

  • Korean speaking is preferred but not required.

PAY RANGE IS FROM 16.50/H + TIPS
