Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Aero/Defense Patrol Driver in Huntington Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.

As a member of the Allied Universal team, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. In this armed and driving role, you will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $28.13 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, recognizing that working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of two years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or a General Education Diploma (GED).
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
