Busboy/Dishwasher

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Busboy/Dishwasher to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic. Prior experience in the food industry, hospitality, or restaurant settings is a plus but not required. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in a fast-paced environment while supporting the overall dining experience.

Duties

• Clear and buss tables promptly to ensure cleanliness and readiness for incoming guests
• Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment using proper food handling procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and dishwashing stations
• Assist with food prep and service as needed, including setting up and breaking down stations
• Support servers by delivering clean dishes and assisting with bussing tables during busy hours
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards related to cleaning and food handling
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality industries is preferred but not mandatory
• Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining sanitation standards
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
• Basic knowledge of food handling safety procedures
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting dishes or moving supplies
• Reliable work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills

Job Type: Part-time
