The Watts Internship Program is your chance to bring what you've learned in the classroom to life You'll dive into real-world projects, gaining hands-on experience while learning how business really works from the inside. During the program, you'll get to roll up your sleeves and make an impact on day-to-day operations. What You'll Do  
As a Product Management Intern, you will support the DigiTemp II's market strategy by researching competitors, building a comparison matrix, and creating whitepapers that highlight key differentiators. You will collaborate with sales and engineering to validate insights, develop visual tools for sales enablement, and gather customer feedback to inform product positioning and feature recommendations.

  • Research competitive offerings in the digital mixing valve space
  • Develop competitive matrix
  • Create engaging and informative whitepapers highlighting key differences from key competitor
  • Collaborate with internal sales and engineering teams to validate findings and ensure accuracy of competitive data
  • Create clear visuals (charts, graphs, dashboards) to communicate competitive insights for sales teams
  • Conduct customer interviews or surveys to understand buying criteria and perceptions of mixing valve brands
  • Provide recommendations for potential feature enhancements or market positioning strategies for DigiTemp II based on research insights.

Who You Are

  • Current student (senior) pursuing your bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, marketing, or related field.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Passionate about your work, with a genuine desire to contribute meaningfully and make an impact
  • Demonstrated commitment to integrity and respect in interactions with others, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Strong sense of accountability, taking ownership of tasks and following through on commitments
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and do not require sponsorship now or in the future.

The expected salary range for this position is $22 - $26 an hour. Actual compensation will be dependent upon individual skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.

Working Conditions

Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job responsibilities outside the typical office setting.

While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. You must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
