Responsibilities

  • Conduct engaging music lessons tailored to students' skill levels and interests across various instruments and genres
  • Prepare lesson plans that promote musical growth, technique, and performance confidence
  • Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to help students achieve their musical goals
  • Organize and oversee student performances, recitals, and community events
  • Maintain a positive, supportive environment that fosters creativity and enthusiasm for music
  • Collaborate with fellow instructors to develop curriculum enhancements and new program offerings
  • Assist in marketing efforts by participating in promotional activities and community outreach programs

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in teaching or performing music, with proficiency in at least one instrument or vocal coaching
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students of diverse backgrounds
  • Knowledge of music theory, performance techniques, and instructional methods
  • Ability to adapt teaching styles to meet individual student needs
  • Passion for music education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment
  • Prior experience working with children or beginners is a plus
  • Professional demeanor with excellent organizational skills and reliability
