Job Description:

This role will support our environmental team on projects involving wildlife conservation, environmental impact assessments, and sustainable land management.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in field surveys and data collection related to wildlife, vegetation, and habitats.

  • Collaborate with staff to analyze ecological data and contribute to environmental technical reports and permit applications.

  • Support the development of conservation plans and environmental impact assessments.

  • Participate in the assessment and mitigation of environmental impacts of civil and environmental engineering projects.

  • Additional related duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Biology, Wildlife or Forest Management, Conservation, or related field (Master's degree a plus).

  • Interest in wildlife conservation and environmental impact assessments.

  • Familiarity with conducting fieldwork and ecological surveys.

  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.

  • Detail-oriented, good organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must be reliable, dependable and able to work independently or within a team.
