Social Worker

The Villa at Marymount has an immediate opening for a Social Worker.

Please have LTC, social work experience. REQUIRED

Educational Requirements

  • An individual with a minimum of a bachelor's degree in social work or a bachelor's degree in a human services field including, but not limited to, sociology, gerontology, special education, rehabilitation counseling, and psychology; and

  • One year of supervised social work experience in a health care setting working directly with individuals.

Experience

  • Must have, as a minimum, one year of experience in a social services setting (in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or another related medical facility.)

Duties are varied and include:

  • Assist with planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating, the social service programs of this facility.

  • Keep abreast of current federal and state regulations, as well as professional standards, and make recommendations on changes in policies and procedures to the Administrator.

  • Participate in discharge planning, development, and implementation of social care plans and resident assessments.
