Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. This role involves engaging children in educational and fun activities while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Duties
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities, including playtime, arts and crafts, and educational games.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks while accommodating dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment by tidying up play areas and assisting with household chores related to childcare.
- Provide first aid as needed and ensure the safety of children at all times.
- Assist with homework and educational tasks for school-aged children.
- Support children with disabilities by implementing individualized care plans as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's daily activities, progress, and any concerns that may arise.
- Foster a positive relationship with each child to promote their emotional well-being.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in childcare, babysitting, or nannying is essential.
- Familiarity with preschool education concepts is preferred.
- Skills in meal preparation and cooking for children are highly valued.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR is a plus.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is desirable.
- Strong organizational skills to manage daily routines effectively.
- Ability to create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for children of all ages.
