Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Associate to join our mental health organization. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming environment. This role requires excellent communication skills, knowledge of community resources, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. Bilingual abilities and mental health experience are highly desirable to enhance guest relations and streamline operations.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with sign-in/sign-out procedures
- Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
- Handle guest inquiries, and requests promptly and effectively
- Maintain accurate records of phone calls and program data
- Provide information about community resources over the phone and in person
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette and guest relations throughout all interactions
- Support front desk operations during peak hours or staff shortages as needed
- Assist with data entry for multiple programs
- Represent the organization in a positive way as the first point of contact
Qualifications
- Proven experience in front desk operations, or guest services preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly advantageous for serving diverse guests
- Knowledge of community resources and mental health preferred
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
- Previous experience in a mental health field a plus
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
