We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Equipment Marketplace Listings Specialist to manage and optimize our multi-marketplace listings for used industrial equipment. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, standardized, and compelling product listings across platforms such as eBay, WooCommerce internal webstore, and other industry-specific resale sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of market trends, pricing strategies, and product presentation to drive profitable and competitive sales.


Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Marketplace Management: Create, update, and manage      listings across multiple e-commerce platforms for used industrial      equipment
  • Product Standardization: Ensure consistency in product      specifications, descriptions, and categorization. Develop and maintain      templates for listing uniformity
  • Photo & Media      Coordination: Source,      edit, and upload high-quality images that accurately represent each piece      of equipment
  • Market Research &      Analysis: Conduct      competitive analysis to benchmark pricing and listing strategies against      similar equipment in the resale market.
  • Pricing Strategy: Set and adjust pricing to      balance profitability with market competitiveness, using data-driven      insights, aging reports, and consistent market analysis of supply and      demand 
  • Inventory Accuracy: Maintain up-to-date records of      available inventory and ensure all listings reflect current stock and      condition.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track listing performance      metrics provided by marketing analytics (views, conversions,      time-on-market) and recommend optimizations.
  • Cross-Functional      Collaboration: Work      closely with sales, operations, and logistics teams to ensure seamless      listing-to-sale processes.
Education & Minimum Qualifications (Skills and Abilities)
  • 2+ years of experience in      e-commerce, preferably in industrial equipment or B2B resale. 
  • Familiarity with platforms      like eBay, Facebook Marketplace, and niche industrial equipment marketplaces.      
  • Strong analytical skills      with experience in pricing strategy and market research. 
  • Proficiency in Excel, ERP      systems, and e-commerce listing tools. 
  • Excellent written      communication and attention to detail. 
  • Excellent ability to      multi-task and prioritize in a busy, fast-growth environment
  • Exceptional organizational      skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and      written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word,      Excel and Power Point is essential
  • Excellent interpersonal      and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent time management      skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

PREFERRED: 

· Knowledge of industrial equipment categories and specifications. 

· Experience with inventory management systems (IMS) or ERP platforms. 

· SEO knowledge for e-commerce listings.

· Experience with photo editing tools (e.g., Photoshop, Canva) is a plus.

Job Site & Travel Requirements

This is an in-office role, reporting daily on 1st shift to the Detroit headquarters office is required
