Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This position requires a strong commitment to quality service and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Perform floor care duties including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces as needed.
  • Replace linens, towels, and toiletries in guest rooms according to hotel standards.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping management promptly.
  • Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Uphold the hotel's policies regarding safety and sanitation while performing all cleaning tasks.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests for additional items or services.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial work is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and techniques is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry practices is an advantage.
  • Must be physically able to perform the duties required, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
