Inside Sales Representative

American General Tool Group owns, manufacturer and distributes tools, parts and accessories for 18 different brands located in North County San Diego. We are a growing company with a stable foundation.
We are looking for a talented and competitive Inside Sales Representative that thrives in a competitive and fast growing field. This inside sales rep will play a fundamental role in achieving our continued growth in product/brand revenue. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with existing customers, qualifying prospects and closing sales.
Responsibilities
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
- Understand customer needs, market various product lines to target customers
- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
- Assisting our team with customer inquiries, upsell special items
Skills
- Proven inside sales experience
- Strong phone presence and experience dialing multiple calls per day
- Recognition of clients needs using effective people skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong listening and communicative skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- BA/BS degree or equivalent
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Proven experience in inside sales or a similar role
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to effectively manage accounts and drive sales
- Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct warm calling
- Familiarity with B2B sales and business development strategies
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65, $75,000.00 per year
