As a Lead Deal Coordinator at Redfin, you'll flex your leadership skills to help us develop an exceptional team of Coordinators, resulting in a better employee experience, delighted agents, and satisfied customers. You'll serve as an essential resource for other Redfin Coordinators as well as a coach and mentor, encouraging best practices and modeling Redfin values. 

As the team grows, you'll also assist with initial training and onboarding to make sure we continue to deliver excellent service. You'll mentor Newfins when they complete their initial training and work hand in hand with their manager to set them up for success. You'll take direction from the local Support Manager, possibly supporting multiple markets or teams. 

The right candidate for this role is a superstar Deal Coordinator, ultimate people-person, and subject matter expert who leads by example and is interested in exploring a career in people management. 

Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Provide lead support to Listing and/or Transaction Coordinators as directed by management

  • Ongoing shadowing, coaching, and development 

  • Assist with resource documentation and manual creation

  • Onboard and train new coordinators 

  • Provide deal coverage as needed

  • Deal auditing 

  • Assist with new feature roll-out communication and implementation

  • Stay up to date on changing regulations and procedures

  • Load balancing and coverage management in tandem with Support Manager

  • Work with Support Manager to maintain positive team morale  

Qualifications:

  • Real estate license required

  • 12 months as a Listing Coordinator, Transaction Coordinator, or Market Coordinator preferred

  • Advanced knowledge of the activation, transaction, closing, and/or lending processes

  • Experience coaching, with the ability to influence and bring out the best in your peers

  • Ability to recognize high performers based on data and interaction with the team 

  • Expert in time management, with the ability to prioritize and quickly shift gears between tasks 

  • Champion of Deal Queue and Redfinesse

  • Keen attention to detail

  • Consistently drives for results and celebrates successes

  • Demonstrates Redfin's core values at all times

  • Proven history of building relationships with clients and team members

  • Identifies inefficiencies in our systems/services and comes up with ideas to make things better

  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to spot strengths, opportunities, and inefficiencies in your team's workflow

  • Strong written and oral communication skills to relay process changes to the team effectively

Base Pay Range: $ Actual base pay will depend on varying circumstances, including the position, location, individual qualifications, market finances, and other operational business needs.
