The Property Manager is responsible for providing Real Property Management (RPM) Clients with top-tier customer service and excellence in management services. Real Property Management Layton relies on the Property Manager to demonstrate leadership and create trust with property owners and residents (both current and prospective), as well as contractors and all service providing vendors. The Property Manager instills confidence in our service by taking personal pride and ownership of the properties we manage.

The Property Manager is highly organized with strong time management skills and an understanding of prioritization. Naturally driven to provide excellent customer service and to instill trust. The Property Manager is a natural communicator with great negotiation skills, the ability to work independently, and in a professional demeanor.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Hands-on management of assigned property portfolio through Appfolio.
  • Manage Resident Applications.
  • Advertise available properties through approved RPM systems, signage, and lockboxes.
  • Maintain regular contact with current residents and property owners.
  • Organize maintenance requests and work orders through Appfolio for assigned property portfolio.
  • Monitor work orders as submitted from maintenance for additional work or completed tasks.
  • Manage property inspection reports for work orders and updates to property owners.
  • Manage communication portal with residents and property owners.
  • Manage property portfolio for late payments, notices, and evictions.
  • Conduct property reviews with residents during move-out and move-in procedures.
  • Attend and participate in office meetings.
  • Attend and participate in training sessions as assigned.
  • Provide feedback and participate in continuous improvement of office procedures and processes.
  • Assist and provide support for office activity such as: answering phones, walk-in traffic, office cleaning.
  • Must be a team player and perform other duties as necessary.
