RESPONSIBILITIES
The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for the planning, configuration, testing, and implementation of all operational changes to create the release package for the delivery of, or changes to, the designated service. Manages all aspects of the end-to-end release process. Ensures coordination of build and test environments teams and release teams (as applicable). Ensure teams follow the organization's established policies and procedures. Provides configuration management planning. Provides support to the configuration change Operational and approval process. Supports the quality assurance process audits. Provide management reports on release progress. Responsible for service roll out planning including method of deployment; and plans communication implementation in coordination with the Change Operational Process.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: At least Ten (10) Plus years of experience in network operations
- Routing and switching/Firewall (FW) SME with Six (6) Plus years
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in related technical field. or equivalent experience
- Background Investigation is required
- Certifications preferred include: ITIL
- Certifications preferred include: Level III CCNP, CCDP, or CCIE
- Certifications preferred include: Change Management Certification
- Certifications preferred include: SIX Sigma Certification Green Belt
Overview
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team supporting a National law enforcement agency NOC. This team provides support services for Network(s) Management, Operations, and Maintenance for all Network(s) infrastructure. Support includes providing real-time incident monitoring, predictive and proactive analysis and reporting, incident resolution and escalation, problem management and resolution, coordinating of events related to network communications, network utilization and availability analysis and reporting. The NOC is staffed 24x7x365 with three (3) shifts of mid to senior level contract technicians, and handles approximately 4,000 tickets a month.
